2015 IT Job & Salary Survey Master List

We are now heading toward the end of 2015, and it's time to recap how the IT job market has been for this year.  I have gathered some of the most well known IT job and salary surveys and a few 2016 salary guidance or prediction.

1. ComputerWorld - IT Salary Survey 2015

One of the largest report of its kind.  There are data for almost all kinds of IT related jobs you can think of.

2. PayScale - Salary Survey

For this one, you'll have to participate in the survey in order to receive a report for your job title.  The report is pretty detailed and unique in its content.  It's definitely worth it for 5-10 minutes of your time answering the survey questions.

3. Robert Half - 2016 Salary Guide for Technology and IT

Here is something different. The report contains 2016 salary guidance for all job titles in IT sector.  It's time to find out if you need to move to another company to get the pay you deserve.

4. Dice - 2015 Tech Salary Survey (PDF)

As a leader among IT job search sites, Dice should know a thing or two about the salaries paid for IT workers.

5. Glassdoor - Salary by Job Title

This one is not as comprehensive as the ones listed above, but provide you with great resource if you are job hunting.

6 Modis - 2016 IT Salary Guide

Here is another 2016 IT salary prediction.

I have reviewed all of the reports above, and the job market for IT sector is looking pretty good for 2015 and beyond.  The annual salary for the vast majority of IT sector gets 5% or more increase year or year.

It's a sad truth but we are forced to jump to another company in order to get the increase we deserve since many companies cap their annual raise to way below 5% unless your job title changes with a promotion.
